How to Become a Business Partner with Oregon Wildlife Foundation
At Oregon Wildlife Foundation, we believe wildlife conservation is best when communities work together, and that includes local and regional businesses. By becoming a business partner with the Foundation, your company is supporting meaningful conservation work and the lands, waters, and iconic species that make Oregon such a special place to live and visit.
From limited-release craft beers to community celebrations, our business partnerships show that doing good for wildlife can be creative, collaborative, and impactful.
What Does an Oregon Wildlife Foundation Business Partnership Look Like?
A business partnership with the Foundation is a collaboration between your business and our conservation mission. Partnerships can take many forms, including:
Cause-related product collaborations
Donation-per-sale campaigns
Limited-time promotions or events
Co-branded merchandise or releases
Community fundraisers and awareness campaigns
Each of our partnerships is tailored to align with your goals and directly support wildlife conservation across Oregon.
Past Collaborations: Conservation in Action
Our partners have helped bring conservation stories to life in memorable ways.
High Five, Herman! – Ferment Brewing
In June 2024 and 2025, Ferment Brewing partnered with Oregon Wildlife Foundation to honor Herman the Sturgeon — Oregon’s most beloved aquatic celebrity — with a special IPA, High Five, Herman!. The release of the beer coincided with Herman’s birthday celebration at Bonneville Fish Hatchery.
Brewed with Salmon-Safe malt from Mainstem Malt and hops from Crosby Hops, the beer highlighted environmentally responsible sourcing while raising awareness about sturgeon conservation and the challenges facing Oregon’s waterways. Donation links at the brewery helped channel support directly to OWF’s work protecting aquatic ecosystems.
Red-Legged Ale – Ferment Brewing
Ferment Brewing teamed up with Foundation again in late winter 2024 and 2025 for Red-Legged Ale, a collaborative hoppy red ale that benefits the Harborton Frog Crossing Project.
For millennia, red-legged frogs, in what is now Forest Park, migrated safely each year to and from nearby wetlands to reproduce the next generation. Today, habitat loss and busy roads put them at serious risk of extirpation. Proceeds from Red-Legged Ale — 20% of profits — supported OWF’s efforts to design a permanent wildlife undercrossing near the town of Linnton, helping amphibians and small animals safely cross busy Highway 30.
Beer for Deer – Migration Brewing
In November 2022, Migration Brewing partnered with the Foundation to release a specialty red lager, Beer for Deer. The launch included custom can artwork inspired by our Watch for Wildlife license plate and a release party where a portion of food and drink sales benefited our conservation programs.
